I’m a friendly and enthusiastic guide offering a range of flexible tours in this great city. Wherever we explore we will also be travelling back into its absorbing history, while not forgetting the contemporary London scene.

I was awarded the London Blue Badge while already guiding at Shakespeare’s Globe on Bankside (Shakespeare studies have featured prominently throughout my life). Before this I was an experienced teacher and lecturer so am very much at home with student groups, but equally I have conducted many successful tours for a diversity of people from around the world.

Having lived in the London area most of my life, I take pleasure in sharing with visitors its fascinating past and present. My main ‘specialist’ topic is Literature (see some of my walking tours listed below), but I’m far from limited to that subject! I aim to cover in a lively and engaging way anything that may interest you, and to show you aspects of London you might not otherwise discover…
