WELCOME TO LONDON

I hope you'll let me show you round! I offer a range of full and half day tours and will do my best to ensure that you have a fantastic time in this great city - and beyond. Whatever our means of travel - by coach, taxi, public transport, or on a walking tour - we will also be moving through time into our rich and exciting history.

I have been a guide at Shakespeare's Globe since 2001 and it was my delight in sharing my enthusiasms that led me to develop my guiding work, first as a City of London Guide and then as a Blue Badge Guide for London.

My professional life has been spent communicating my interests. I was previously a literature teacher and lecturer so I feel very much at home with student groups. My Shakespearean studies were fuelled by my involvement with the Shakespeare Institute, Stratford-upon-Avon and then through my M.A. at the University of London.

As a Blue Badge Guide I am keen to cover in a lively and engaging way anything that may interest visitors (and I may not be able to restrain myself from slipping in the occasional quotation...)
